New Gymnasium

A new 13,000-square-foot multi-purpose gymnasium has been added to Elijah House Academy’s K–8 campus, enhancing the school’s ability to support both academic and community life. The facility features a regulation high school basketball and volleyball court, a performance stage, two classrooms, two changing rooms, retractable bleachers, a teacher’s office, and dedicated storage. A divider curtain allows the space to be split into two half courts, enabling flexible use across multiple grade levels.

Brick detailing inspired by the existing Chapel helps the new building blend seamlessly with the campus architecture. Site improvements include a natural grass soccer field, a redesigned green space at the main entrance, and an upgraded parking lot to better serve pick-up and drop-off needs. The new gymnasium allows Elijah House Academy to host full-school gatherings and welcome members of the surrounding community into its vibrant campus.
