Veritas School Master Plan Refresh (2025)
Veritas School
Richmond, Virginia
Building on the foundation of the 2019 master plan, Glavé & Holmes led a strategic refresh to reflect recent developments and refine Veritas School’s long-term vision. This accelerated master planning process began with a visioning and programming phase to confirm that the school’s core priorities remained consistent with the earlier plan.
The updated plan incorporates changes that had occurred since the previous effort, including building demolitions, property acquisitions, and the outcomes of recent rezoning studies. Special attention was given to refining the west campus layout—evaluating vehicular circulation, drop-off loop configurations, and parking—while also enhancing pedestrian connections across campus. The plan strengthens the relationship between existing and future buildings on the east campus, integrating the proposed Student Life Center, future gymnasium, Laburnum House, and athletic fields. It also includes a refined footprint for the performing arts center and improved circulation at the southeast campus edge, resulting in a cohesive, forward-looking vision that supports the school’s continued growth and mission.
